    RainbowMe Approved on the fence:

  1. Mulan - The movie's reception in China was "meh" with complaints the depiction of the main character was too foreign looking and the story was too different from the myths.

      Just NO.

  1. The Gods Must Be Crazy- We don't think there needs to be an explanation if you have seen this movie, if you have not, just know that every stereotype that could possibly be conceivevd about the country of Africa is here in this movie.
  2. Pocahantas- Native American groups did not like how much the movie strayed from the actual story of the 10 year old native.
  3. Aladdin- The American-Arab Discrimination Committee didn't care for two of the songs becuase it made the Arab world seem violent. There was also an issue with the European features and American accents of the main characters Aladdin and Jasmine compared to the other characters of the movie.
